Semi-Active Suspension system

A semi-active suspension system is an advanced type of automotive suspension that adjusts the damping force of the shock absorbers in real-time based on road conditions. Unlike passive suspension systems, which have a fixed damping rate, semi-active systems use variable dampers or other dissipation components to provide a more adaptable response. For example, a twin-tube viscous damper can vary its damping coefficient by changing the diameter of the orifice in the piston, controlled electronically. This allows the suspension to offer a balance between ride comfort and handling performance by continuously adapting to the road surface and driving conditions
